...highlights of the week, a recap of the birthday party, or a proper tribute to the birthday girl, so I'll write about those things during the upcoming week.
Today was full. We worked hard this morning getting ready for Madeline's party and our efforts paid off. It went very well! I'm pleased. After the party, we cleaned up, helped Madeline get some of her gifts out of their packages, and then went to a potluck supper -- sort of a kick-off of the joint venture between the Irish Club of Regina and Prairie Gael School of Irish Dance to host an Irish pavilion at Mosaic this year. Neil had made a marinated vegetable salad yesterday for the potluck, so it was no effort today. It was nice to have such an easy and delicious supper after a busy day. When we got home (shortly after 7:00 pm), I made cupcakes for Madeline's classroom birthday celebration tomorrow. I will frost them in the morning before work, so I'd better not stay up too late!
