Sophia was as good as gold this morning. Thank goodness. My strategy worked: I let her sleep 20 minutes late and didn't give her any opportunities to... think of things that would conflict with getting ready to go on time (and I didn't say a word about last evening). As soon as she emerged from her room, I just quickly got her dressed, did her hair, and shuffled her out the door with a string cheese and cereal bar to eat in the car. No problem whatsoever. She didn't even complain when I said there's wasn't time to finish watching the Care Bears episode that was on.
Then when I was leaving Sharon's house, she said, "I love you Mommy!" She can be so sweet sometimes. Life with Sophia is such an emotional rollercoaster.
