This morning...
- I was awake before 5:30 a.m., even though I wanted to sleep until 6:00 a.m.
- I was showered and ready for the day by 6:10 a.m., even though I don't have to work today.
- Both kids woke up way too early, considering what time they went to sleep.
- When I ran upstairs to stop the girls from getting out of bed, I stubbed my big toe--on a pumpkin! (My toe is still sore more than three hours later.)
- Sophia let Neil lay in bed with her and she went back to sleep.
- As I laid in bed with Madeline, she said "I'n not tired" over and over (at least 20 times) and then went back to sleep.
- I fell asleep again, even though I didn't want to.
- When Neil's alarm woke me at 7:00 a.m., I jumped up and rushed out the door because I wanted to be at the lab when they opened at 7:00 a.m.
- I had a fasting blood-glucose test done, and other than the sugar drink I had when I arrived at the lab, I did not eat or drink anything for 14 hours! (I've never had to fast before and that's a long time to go without food when you're 27+ weeks pregnant.)
- I enjoyed sitting in the waiting room for over an hour because I remembered to take my Simple Scrapbooks magazine.
- I saw three girls at the lab, about age 8 or 9, and I think they were identical triplets.
- There was a thick blanket of fog this morning, and I don't remember the last time it was foggy.
