I hit the hay with the girls again last night, about 9:00 p.m. I've been doing that a lot lately, somewhat involuntarily I might add (i.e. I fall asleep with one of them and then I have no desire to get up again). I guess I need the sleep.
I've been dreaming a lot at night. Some good, some bad, some really mundane, but all of them are long and vivid. I think that's a pregnancy thing. It's surprising I can get so much deep sleep considering each of the kids wake me almost every night and I already have to go to the bathroom two or three times a night. I'm sure I'm out of bed four or five times every night.
Last night, at maybe 4:00 or 5:00 am, I felt the baby moving in a cool way. Several times I felt her on both sides at the same time. She must have been stretching or something.
I'm considering getting a sling to carry the baby, such as one of these Hotslings or Slingeeze. A friend of mine has used one for all three of her babies and swears by it. (I should ask her what kind she has.) Does anyone else have any good or bad reports on using a sling? I have a feeling I will want or need to have my hands free a bit more this time. I don't have to buy much of anything for this baby, so I certainly don't mind making a purchase like this. The only thing I've bought for this baby is an ultrasoft microfibre hooded baby towel from Norwex.
