I had a prenatal checkup this morning and it was great! Everything is looking good:
Blood sugar: perfect
Blood pressure: great
Weight gain: right on track
Measurement: on the nose (29 cm at 29 weeks)
Swelling: none
I really should reward my body for being so good at this pregnancy thing! I think a massage would be a good gift for the body.
(Oh yeah, there were those leg cramps on Saturday night, but that was after wearing high heels for eight hours straight and being on my feet much of the time...so maybe I shouldn't do that! I'm not concerned anyway; I had leg cramps in my other two pregancies.)
The only odd thing this morning was that (once again) the doctor couldn't isolate the baby's heartbeat from mine, so he ordered an ultrasound to find out her heart rate. No worries about the baby's well-being though. In fact, while the doctor was trying to find the heartbeat with the doppler, the baby was kicking like crazy; he could clearly see the movement as my belly popped up and down throughout the 10 minutes or so!
I'm going for the ultrasound this afternoon, and looking forward to seeing the baby again!
