Winter

Snow_15nov2005I think it's here to stay.

We had our first real snowfall a week ago on November 8 and some of it melted away last week. Yesterday we had a winter storm which resulted in this layer of snow.

It's cold today too. This morning, it was -11 with a wind chill of -22, and tonight, it's supposed to go down to -25. Brrrr!

The girls love the snow (so does Neil actually; not me though)! Sophia absolutely cannot resist flopping down in the snow and making a snow angel every chance she gets.

Update Nov 16: It's -29 this morning, breaking the previous record low of -25.6 set in 1959. Fortunately, this cold is only supposed to last for one day. High of -13 today, then -1 tomorrow. That sounds better.
