On Tuesday, I received a phone call from an international supervisor at Oriental Trading Company. She left me a message apologizing at length for the problem with my order failing and then having to re-order -- and I hadn't even complained about my bad experience yet! It was GREAT to hear from them first.
I finally had a chance to call her back this afternoon. She had given me her direct number. Again, she was extremely apologetic and immediately offered to credit me the entire cost of shipping. I was pleased with that, but then I also mentioned that two of the items had inexplicably dropped off my order. She apologized again and gave me a credit for those items as well even though I hadn't paid for them (which she knew). Over $60 back on my credit card! I'm happy with that.
I will likely order from OTC again; however, I will probably place the order by phone -- apparently, they have some problems with international orders placed through the website. I will order further in advance next time too!
