Georgia is our little broccoli lover (as always; see Dec 2006), and we bought a six pack of seedlings at her request this spring. It was the first time we planted broccoli in our garden. I wasn't sure the plants were going to produce anything since the leaves were so full of holes, but they did! This bouquet of broccoli is the first harvest from five of the plants. There was so little on the sixth plant, I didn't bother to cut it today. We ate fresh broccoli with hummus for lunch, and Georgia ate one whole stalk by herself!
