I enjoy genealogy as a hobby and have collected quite a few old documents over the years. This is a copy of a Cunard Steam Ship contract. I love how it says "Please forward this family to Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan" which is my home town. The date was July 1907 and the second person listed, Kristine, was my great grandmother. She was 13 when they emigrated from Norway to Canada.
I've always admired my Aunt Chris's wonderful whimsical handwriting. Digital frame by Rhonna Farrer.
Third picture??? I was planning to get another, but ran out of time today. I think I'll take it tomorrow.

Well, this isn't what I had in mind for another "handwritten" shot, but it tells a timely story! I wrote this note after work today -- and, yes, it's terrible that we don't know our neighbour's name. She saw some people spray painting words on our van, called the police, and then knocked on our door at 3:00 am. After the police came and took pictures, we cleaned off the spray paint using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Amazingly, the culprits appeared in youth court this morning! They had also vandalized a trailer on our street and a mosque a block away. They were caught on the mosque's security camera.
